Real Startups. Real Mentors.
Real Funding.

INCubator@BHS is a nationally recognized entrepreneurship program at Batavia High School, part of the Uncharted Learning network of approximately 90 schools. Students form actual startups, develop real products, build business plans using the Lean Startup methodology, and pitch to panels of industry judges — all within a single school year.

What sets this apart: a community-driven model where volunteer mentors, coaches, and business resources from the Batavia area provide authentic professional guidance. Students aren't studying business — they're doing business.

Hear It From the Students

Meet Micah — filmed live at
last year's Penrose event

We caught up with INCubator student Micah at the 2025 Penrose Brewing fundraiser. His take on what he's learned in the program says everything about why this experience matters.

“The most interesting thing I've learned being in this program is how much community, connections, and AI can impact a business. Making connections is so important in the business world — connections take you a long way.” — Micah, INCubator@BHS Student

Asked if his generation is going to take over the world, Micah didn't hesitate:

“Absolutely. Because we're young, we're creative, and we're energetic.”

This is what your $50 ticket supports — students like Micah who are building real skills, real connections, and real confidence.

From Wristbands to First Place

Forever Faithful — first place
out of 14 teams

A Christian clothing brand born in the INCubator classroom. What started with black wristbands grew into t-shirts, hoodies, and a rainbow of accessories — each carrying a message of faith. They took the top award at Pitch Night.

“We really want to give anybody an easy way to express their faith and start conversation about it — to spread the gospel and let others receive the gift that we have received.” — Forever Faithful Team

This is what INCubator makes possible — students turning personal passion into a real business.

Purpose-Driven Learning in Action

Meet Tyson — athlete, entrepreneur,
and community storyteller

Tyson is headed to Indiana University Indianapolis to play Division I soccer and major in business. But his INCubator venture wasn't about sports — it was about people.

“We got a group of students with similar passions and went around to retirement homes in the area and interviewed the residents for some of their stories. It was a really awesome experience.” — Tyson, INCubator@BHS Student

That's the power of INCubator — a D1 athlete choosing to spend his time connecting generations and preserving stories. Every student finds their own path.
